Family owned & operated, Moss Lake Farm is nestled in the rich Kentucky Bluegrass, convienently located within 45 minutes of most stud farms in the central Kentucky area. We offer over 25 years experience in all areas of theThoroughbred industry, and enjoy a 98% conception rate. With our farm teaser on the job, we successfully get most mares in foal with one cover. Here, at Moss Lake, we treat each horse as an "individual" and adjust feed & care programs to suit each one. Our feed is specially blended with extra vitamins & minerals, critical for a horses diet and overall health. Whether your needs are one of our many private paddocks or one of our large fields, we pride ourselves in offering the Best possible Thoroughbred care with a Personal touch at a moderate price.
Rodney has been in the Thoroughbred Industry for over 25 years. Born & raised in Lexington, KY., he has spent time on many of Lexington's Premier Farms, including several years at Overbrook as a Foreman(broodmare division). He has extensive experience in Foaling & Breeding mares, and prefers to personally handle and oversee all the foaling done on Moss Lake Farm. Rodney has also spent a number of years with racehorses, handling and caring for major Grade I winners. He personally oversee's all farm activity, daily care of the horses, Veterinary work and supervises all of the farm employees.
Pam originally hails from Dallas, TX, but has been in the Lexington, KY. area since 1991. She began working in the Thoroughbred Industry at the Keeneland Horse sales in 1992, and has remained active in the sales area. She has also spent time on many of Lexington's Premier Farms, both office and sales prep. Pam has also spent a number of years with racehorses, caring for Graded Stakes winners. She handles all aspects of the office, including billing, booking the mares and record keeping of Mares, Foals, Layup schedules and Sales agenda.
